Powerline internet adapter interference received around 6MHz area of the HF bands. Fortunately I must live a reasonable distance from whichever home is using these horrible devices as I only receive the interference faintly around part of 6MHz everything above and below the area affected is clear. If it was any closer I would be at risk of losing reception on the entire hf band. With the software defined receiver you can see how much interference and what a problem these adapters cause. For anyone who doesn't know these powerline adapters allow you to link your computers to your broadband router or modem using the mains electrical wiring in your house by using one device plugged into an electrical socket near your modem/router and another to receive the signal plugged in near your computer. They use the HF band to transmit the signal to one another and unfortunately nearly all of them are badly shielded and filtered which then turns the house wiring into a huge antenna and turning the house using them into a huge Jamming station jamming all the frequencies on the HF band as well as medium and long wave radio bands.
