Once I turn off my ipod touch, and turn it back on, the ad hoc's ip address goes to a default number (losing internet, very frustrating). BUT I'll tell you how you can fix this therefore making your ad hoc router everlasting. Once you do finish using my video and your using your laptop as a router. Go ahead and click "View Status" next to your new ad hoc connection on your Network and Sharing page. It will only appear if, at least, two users are using it. Once clicked, go to view details and write down the IP address, subnet mask, and the DNS server numbers.
